ACTS 242

Emphasizing Biblical Studies and Apostolic Teaching

Acts 2:42 is the first description of the earliest Christian church. It puts first the devotion to “the apostles’ teaching.” Bishop Stanton has emphasized the importance of biblical studies throughout his more than 50 years of ministry. He continues to engage lay people, youth and those preparing for ministry in understanding and committing to Jesus and the apostles’ teaching after him.
